Tales From the Trenches, vol. 16

This past Spring, Vinnie LoRusso and Tyler Harp, ECD and Lead Music Supervisor respectively at Elias Music, approached me about writing an album in the "post rock" genre. Think of bands like, Sigur Ros, Explosions In The Sky, The Album Leaf and Epic 45. But, they wanted me to do it with a twist. Instead of focusing on electric guitars, they wanted me to focus on acoustic guitars and instruments. So I pushed the limits of my stable of stringed acoustic noise makers and added a heavy dose of manipulated acoustic surrealism. I'm very proud of my newly released "Post Acoustic" album, and think it represents some of my very best work.
